Mark Olson Owner

Mark graduated from University of Florida, magna cum laude, with a degree in Mathematics. He began working as an Actuary in NYC & CT until he started his building company in 1985.

Mark began building new homes and developing small subdivisions. He has extensive experience in all aspects of site development. Project Management is headed by Mark, who has over 20 years of diverse building experience giving him unique problem solving skills.

In addition, Mark is a Master Carpenter and has built many homes with his own hands. This hands-on experience, together with his planning and organizational skills gives him the ability to effectively manage very detailed and challenging Architectural projects.

He has a passion for architecture and he embraces the challenges of building all styles of architecture. This experience along with his unyielding attention to detail results in projects that truly maximize the vision of Architect and Homeowner.

Gail Olson Marketing Mgr.

Gail graduated from University of Hartford with a degree in Mass Communications and Marketing. Married to Mark for 21 years, Gail joined Mark's company in 2007 to assist with marketing, communications, customer service and to help oversee the office staff.

In addition Gail digitally documents the entire building process and provides research on historically significant homes. She helps to keep communication channels flowing between the Team of Homeowner, Architect and Olson Development.

Jim DeBeradinis Sr. Site Manager

Jim, also a Master Carpenter, began working with Olson Development since the early days of new home construction. He is highly respected & trusted by the Homeowners and Architects who have worked with him. Jim sets the bar for Customer Service in Fairfield County.

Jim has hands-on experience in virtually every component of construction, ensuring his management of sub-contractors is both detailed and informed.

Jim makes sure the quality of construction, on-time delivery and Customer experience is consistent with Olson Development's high standards of operations.
